Summary:

Day 1 Dunhuang

Our nice guide and driver will meet you in the hotel at 8:00 and head to visit the UNESCO Mogao Grottoes(4hrs visiting at least),which is famous for its exquisite murals and various sculptures inside the caves, which was built in different dynasties, spanning 1,000 years of Buddhist art. We will enjoy the digital movies for 40mins first. It will take 20mins to the grottoes by shuttle bus. The professional guide will give you the detailed and interesting introduction on the history, painting style,Buddhism culture with the visiting to 8-10grottoes.

Lunch will be arranged in the local restaurant. Afterwords we are going to visit Echoing Sand Mountaion&Crescent Lake(4hrs visiting at least). You can experience Camel riding as the Silk Road Caravan in the next two hrs in the vast desert. Then enjoy the pleasant walking around the Crescent Lake,which has been in existence for hundreds of years without ever being buried by the sand; it is really a geological wonder.
After dinner we would stroll around the Shazhou Night Market, the most bustling place of Dunhuang at night.
