Day 1


Kashi is located in the southwestern edge of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. As the westernmost city of China, the name Kashi had its origin in the Uygur word Kashgar which has multiple meanings including “colored brick houses” or “jade converging land”. Upon arrival, your guide and driver will pick you up from the airport and bring you to check in your hotel. Have a good rest.

Day 2

Kashgar  Karakul Lake (260kms,3hrs driving)
Karakul Lake
Morning driving on the China and Pakistan highway to visit the Karakul Lake and enjoy the Pamirs landscape. Later, back to Kashgar for rest.
Karakul Lake is situated at an altitude of 3,600 m. It is the highest lake of the Pamirs plateau, near the junction of the Pamirs, Tian Shan and Kunlun Mountain ranges. Surrounded by mountains which remain snow-covered throughout the year, the three highest peaks visible from the lake are the Muztag Ata (7 546m), Kongur Tagh (7 649m) and Kongur Tiube (7 530 m).

Day 3

Kashgar  Urumqi
Sunday Bazaar
Morning we will head to visit the Sunday Bazaar (livestock Market) with farmers and buyers arriving by donkey cart, truck, bicycle, horseback, motorbike or on foot, with their animals. It's loud, lively and cheerful as they arrive, eat breakfast, set up their animals and check out the action. Then tour at the Old Town, to explore the special culture and life way of local people in Kashgar. Visit the Idigar Mosque, It is the largest Mosque in China and most famous one in Xinjiang. Afterwards, your guide and driver will take you to visit the Handicraft street, it gathered hundreds of handicraft workshops, which has become a boutique exhibition for handicraft in Kashgar and Central Asia. Then we’ll visit the Apak Hoja Tombwhich is the holiest place in Xinjiang and an architectural treasure. 
After then, transfer to the Kashgar airport and take your flight to Urumqi.

Day 4

Urumqi  Heavenly Lake (120kms,1.5hrs driving)
Heavenly Lake
Morning your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. Then driving to Fukang and visit the Heavenly Lake, a picturesque Alpine lake, 2000m up in the Tianshan mountain range. Heavenly Lake is a long and narrow gourd-shaped moraine lake, 3400 meters long, about 1500 meters wide, 105 meters at the deepest point, with an average depth of 40 meters, covering an area of about 5.9 square kilometers. There are eight beautiful scenic spots in the lake scenic area.
Afternoon, back to Urumqi, and tour at the Xinjiang regional museum to see archaeological treasures from the Silk Road and Xinjiang's minority cultures. After then, visit the Xinjiang International Bazaar, the largest bazaar in Urumqi. You'll find a bustling market filled with fruit, clothing, crafts, knives, carpets and almost anything that you can imagine.

Day 5

Urumqi  Turpan(200kms,3hrs driving)
Dinner in Uighur family in Turpan

Morning driving to Turpan, Visit the Tuyoq Village, constructed in eastern and western cliffs in Tuyoq valley . more than 40 caves, there are 10 preserving murals. Enjoy the amazing scenery of Flaming Mountain en route. Lunch will be arranged in downtown Turpan. Afternoon, visit the Karez Well, which is a special irrigation system in desert areas. Sugong Minaret, the largest Islamic minaret in China built in 1778. And Jiaohe Ruins—with a history of 2,300 years lies between two rivers on a loess plateau atop a cliff of over 30m. It is one of the best preserved ruins of its ancient era in China, it was include in the World Heritage List on June 22, 2014.

Day 6

Turpan  Dunhuang    D56(09:36-13:05)

Morning you will be transferred to the train station, and take the express train to Dunhuang(Liuyuan station). meet our guide and driver upon arrival, and check in your hotel. Afternoon, visit the Echoing Sand Mountain&Crescent Lake. After dinner, you will walk around the Shazhou Night Market, the most bustling place of Dunhuang at night.
Echoing-Sand Mountain or “Mingsha Mountain is one of the Four Great Singing Sands of China. Completely piled by sands, the mountain stretches for 40km in length and 20km in width respectively, with the highest point reaching 250m. When there is wild wind, the sands will be blown up and make loud sound, while the sound sounds like being produced by some ancient musical instrument when blew by breeze, hence the name. Surrounded by the Mingsha Mountain, Crescent Lake, is named after its crescent-like shape. According to historical record, the lake has been in existence for hundreds of years without ever being buried by the sand; it is really a geological wonder.

Day 7

Dunhuang  Jiayuguan (350kms,4hrs driving)
Mogao Grottoes

Morning tour of Mogao Grottoes, also known as the Thousand Buddha Grottoes, this UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the great artistic and religious wonders of the world and it is famous for its exquisite murals and various sculptures inside the caves, which was built in different dynasties, spanning 1,000 years of Buddhist art. Then we will drive to Jiayuguan for rest.

Day 8

Jiayuguan  Xi’an
Jiayuguan Pass

In the morning, visit the Jiayuguan pass. This Ming Dynasty fort guards the strategic Jiayuguan pass, at the western end of the Great Wall – this was the last section built by the Ming Dynasty. The Great Wall Museum opened to visitor in October 1989 and it is the first one to exhibit the Great Wall culture in a comprehensive and systematic way. we will visit the Weijin Tombs, which are ancient tombs of brick paintings dating back 265-420 AD. The wall paintings discovered are lifelike and succinct in style and cover a wide range of subjects including politics, economics, culture, military affairs, folk customs, and science and technology during the Wei and Jin periods. Then transfer to the airport and catch your flight to Xi'an

Day 9

Big Goose Pagoda

In the morning, we will visit the Terracotta Warriors, are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. Work is ongoing at this site, which is around 1.5 kilometers east of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum in Lintong, Xian, Shaanxi Province. It is a sight not to be missed by any visitor to China.Upon ascending the throne at the age of 13 (in 246 BC), Qin Shi Huang, later the first Emperor of all China, had begun to work for his mausoleum. Then continue to the Bid Wild Goose Pagoda built to house Buddhist scriptures collected by a Chinese Monk,where you can see variety of Buddha statues.

Day 10

The Ancient City Wall

Morning we will visit the Shanxi Province Museum, to explore the history and culture of ancient China. Afternoon, stroll on the Ancient City Wall, Which you have opportunity to cycle on this ancient wall,and then explore the Old Muslim Quarter and Old Mosque.

Day 11


Breakfast, transfer to the airport to catch your flight, back to your sweet home.
