Day 1

Arrive / Beijing--Kashgar Overnight in Kashgar
International flight on your own arrangement. Once arrive in Beijing then comtinuing the flight to Kashgar, be met & transferred to your hotel. Feel free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2

Kashgar—Karakul lake (260kms 4hrs driving) Overnight in Local Yurt
  After breakfast take the drive on the China and Pakistan highway to visit the Karakul Lake and enjoy the Pamir landscape.
Karakul Lake,At an altitude of 3,600 m. it is the highest lake of the Pamir plateau, near the junction of the Pamir, Tianshan and Kunlun Mountain ranges. Surrounded by mountains which remain snow-covered throughout the year, the three highest peaks visible from the lake are the Muztag Ata (7546m), Kongur Tagh (7,649m) and Kongur Tiube (7,530 m). The lake is popular among travellers for its beautiful scenery and the clarity of its reflection in the water, whose color ranges from a dark green to azure and light blue. There are two Kirgiz settlements along the shore of Karakul Lake, a small number of yurts about 1km east of the bus drop-off point and a village with stone houses located on the western shores.

Day 3

Karakul lake—Taxkorgan County (100kms 2hrs) Overnight in Taxkorgan
  Drive on to Chinese Karakorum highway,
Karakorum high wayIt is 1200 kilometers almost Sino Pakistan—Chinese friendship high way build since 1976. Ancient Silk Road Merchants often run Via over Karakorum, Wahan corridor with Hindi Kush Mountain to India, Pakistan until Iran. On the road, enjoy the scenery of the Mt. Muztag, Taxkorgan, Persian language that means, stone castle, the brave Tajiks people lives on the Pamir more than 2000 year with nomadic life. Visit Stone fortress, Tajiks National art gallery museum and walk around the pastureland to see Local Tajiks customs.

Day 4

Taxkorgan county--- Kashgar(300kms, 4-5hrs) Overnight in Kashgar
  AM back to Kashgar, check into the hotel
Visit Id Kah Mosque, Handicraft Street, Apak Hoja Tomb
Id Kah Mosque It is the large Mosque in China and most famous one in Xinjiang. The Mosque started to build in the mid of fifteenth century, and has gradually developed to the present size. Id K ah Mosque, with about 16800 square meters in area, consisting of Pray Hall, the Koran teaching Hall, The Corridor, the Arches and other buildings attaching to it. The Pray Hall of the mosque can hold 4000 prayers is supported by 140 carved wooden pillars.The buildings of Id Kah Mosque look magnificent and solemn , and display the artistic styles of Islamic mosque architectures.
Handicraft street,Streets near this big market are choked on Sundays with farmers and buyers arriving by donkey cart, truck, bicycle, horseback, Ute, motorbike or on foot, with their animals. It's loud, lively and cheerful as they arrive, eat breakfast, set up their animals and check out the action. Cattle, sheep (they definitely look different), goats, donkeys, horses have their own sections; sellers show their animals are "good eaters"(most go as livestock not meat) and the entire experience is fascinating and fun.
Apak Hoja Tomb, This Mazar is the holiest place in Xinjiang and an architectural treasure . Built in 1640 , it is reminiscent of the Central Asian artistic style of Samarkand or Isfahan . A handsome blue-and-white tiled gate leads into the compound, which includes a small religious school and the Abakh Khoja family tomb. The latter is domed and faced with multi - colored tiles. I t most complete Islamic tomb of the Qing Dynasty up-to-now in China

Day 5

Kashgar—Kuqa by Train K9788 (13:16—21:57) Overnight in Kucha
  Visit Sunday Bazaar, you will be free for you to prepare something for the train and be transferred to the hotel upon arrival.
Sunday Bazaar (livestock Market)Streets near this big market are choked on Sundays with farmers and buyers arriving by donkey cart, truck, bicycle, horseback, ute, motorbike or on foot, with their animals. It's loud, lively and cheerful as they arrive, eat breakfast, set up their animals and check out the action. Cattle, sheep (they definitely look different), goats, donkeys, horses have their own sections; sellers show their animals are "good eaters"(most go as livestock not meat) and the entire experience is fascinating and fun.

Day 6

Kuqa Overnight in Kucha
  Visit the Tianshan Great Canyon, Kizil Grottoes, Kuqa Mosque.
Tianshan Great Canyon in the morning (72 km, 1.5 hours). Known as the most stunning Canyon in China, five thousand meters in total length, and two hundred meters in average depth, the Grand Canyon was once the ancient river course for Kucha River. We will take a half an hour walk in the Grand Canyon to experience the gorgeous scenery, and then enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot before returning the same route.
Kuqa MosqueIt is located in the north of the old city of Kucha and covers an area of 1165 square meters. With a capacity of 3000 people, it is the second largest mosque in Xinjiang, The mosque consists of a main worshiping hall, a small worshiping hall, a minaret, a qubbah, a religious court and hostels, etc. The mosque is a representative of Uygur architectural art of the Qing Dynasty.
Kizil Grottoes the caves were excavated on the cliff of Qul-tagh Mountain by the Muzart River, as the earlist caves in Xinjiang, they care also the earlist ones in China. The contents of these paintings are very rich. Including jataka stories, Budda’s life story and the stories about karma.

Kuqa --- Turpan by train (hard sleeper) K5806 (19:07—10:28) Overnight in Turpan
  Visit Subashi Ruins, Taklamgan desert , Tarim River.
Subashi ruinsThe site is located on the ridges on both sides of Kucha River and 23 kilometers tto the north of Kucha City . “Subashi” means “headwater of a river”. It is composed of two parts divided by the river. With a lot of ruins of stupas, temples and grottoes from the Wei and Jin Dynasties to the end of the T`ang Dynasty, the site is the biggest site of Buddhist temples in Xinjiang.
Taklamkan Desert HighwayIt is the biggest moving desert in the world and most of the people believe that it has buried most of good civilizations among the central Asia. It has occupied land more than 345,000 square km, Taklamakan in local Uyghur language means “Tha desert which buried some places under”, and after some western explorers explore this desert on the early of 20th century, they have given another meaning which is “One go, but never come back”.

Turpan Overnight in Turpan
  Meet guide at train station and drive to Turpan (40mins).check in the hotel.
Visit Astana Tombs, the Flaming Mountain, Tuyoq Valley, Bezklik Grottoes and Local Uyger family in the Vineyard
Astana TombsLocated over 40 kilometers to the southeast of Turfan City , covering an area of 10 square kilometers, the Astana Tombs are the graveyard of the residents lived in the Gaochang City in the Jin-Tang times, including large sized family graveyard. Between 1959 and 1975,here had been excavated 13 times, a great number of cultural relics have been unearthed, including Chinese documents, textiles, epitaphs, coins, clay sculptures, pottery, wooden wares, silk-paintings, crops and foods ,etc., and total number of them reaches tens thousands. Known as “the Underground Museum.
Tuyoq ValleyThe caves lies 65 kilometers to the east of the city of Turfan and are constructed or dug in eastern and western cliffs in Tuyoq valley . Among more than 40 caves, there are 10 preserving murals. They are considered to be the earliest caves in Turfan, Murals are mostly damaged, but unique in style
Bezklik GrottoesIt is located 50 kilometers to the east of Turfan City . “Bezeklik”means “a place with beautiful decoration”. There are 83 numbered caves; among them 40 preserved murals totaling 1200 square meters. These caves are first excavated in Qu`s Gaochang period. The exising caves were reconstructed or newly extended by Uighurian people. In some caves one can find that Buddhish murals are painted on Manichean murals. Themes of the murals are mainly the stories about causes.

  AM visit Jiaohe Ruined city, Karez Irrigation system, Sugong Minerat,
Back to Urumqi after dinner you will be tranferred to the train station
Jiaohe RuinedThe Jiaohe Ruins is located on a mesa in willow leaf shape between the Yarnaz River valleys 10 kilometers to the west of Turfan City. running from northwest to southeast, 1760 meters long and 300 meters across at the widest part. The city includes city gates, streets and lanes, government office, temples, domestic houses, cave houses, wells, and an underground temple.
Karez Irrigation System,The Karez System is a unique irrigation system in Turfan, which, taking advantage of the slopes, draws the underground water to flow by itself to irrigate farmland. It consists of four parts: vertical wells, underground channels, ground canals and small reservois
Sugong Minerat,Locatedin Mura Village 2 kilometers to the east of the city of Turfa , theTower was built in the 41st year of the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty,It is an embodiment of the ancient architectural arts of the Uygur nationality. The tower is 37 meters high and 10 meters in diameter at the base. The body of the tower is cylindroid in shape, built with bricks arranged in various symmetrical patterns on the outer wall. The tower has 14 windows and a spiral stairs inside it leading to the top.

Dunhuang Overnight in Dunhuang
  Our nice guide will meet you at the train station and then head to Dunhuang, Visit Mogao Grottoes, Echoing-Sand Mountain and the Crescent Lake, Camel Riding
Mogao Grottoes, Constructed over a millennium, from the 4th to the 14th centuries, the caves hold the world's richest treasure house of Buddhist sutras, murals and sculptures.Cameras are not permitted.
Echoing-Sand Mountain, Crescent Moon Spring is 6km south of Dunhuang in the Singing Sands Mountains and is quite literally an oasis in the desert. The spring's name derives from the crescent moon shape taken by the small pool of spring water between two large sand dunes. Although the area is very dry, the pool doesn't dry up as one might expect.

Day 11

Dunhuang --Xi'an Overnight in Xi'an
  After breakfast be transferred to the airport and take the flight to Xi'an. Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, the Bell Tower and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy the Tang Dynasty show in the evening.
The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses: The greatest archaeological findings of the century: the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb.

The Wild Goose Pagoda: The pagoda where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India.
The Tang Dynasty show: The show that presents the palace dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty when Xian was the capital.

Xi'an --Chengdu Overnight in Chengdu
  After breakfast Visit Shaanxi historical museum, Xian City Wall, The Grand Mosque. and then take the flight to Chengdu and check into the hotel, after dinner enjoy the Face-changing performance.which is an important aspect of Chinese Sichuan opera. Performers wave their arms and twist their heads, and their painted masks change repeatedly.

Day 13

ChengduLhasa Overnight in Lhasa
  Chengdu is famous for its rich natural resources, as well as a kind of adorable animal – Giant Panda. Before catching your flight to Lhasa, we will head to the Panda Research Center to see this most interesting creature of the world.which has been created and imitated the pandas' natural habitat in order that they might have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. The Center cares also for other rare and endangered wild animals.
Upon your arrival at Lhasa Gonggar airport or Lhasa Train Station, your Tibetan guide and Tibetan driver will pick you up with your name sign, and then they will transfer you to Lhasa city safely. Your guide will give a brief introduction for your tour and clear to you with the more detailed arrangements for the tour in the following days. Have a good rest in your hotel for acclimatization, at around 8 pm, you may have a very light walking near your hotel to test your body.

Day 14

Lhasa Overnight in Lhasa
  On this second day morning we will take a very easy visit to Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar. Jokhang temple, the product of Han, Tibetan and Nepalese architectural techniques, is the most revered shrine in all of Tibet and is constantly bustling with devoted worshippers. Everyday, pilgrims from every corner of Tibet trek a long distance to the temple. In the afternoon we will visit is Sera Monastery, a fifteenth century sprawl of golden roofs and whitewashed walls. This well preserved monastery locates 5 km to the north direction of central Lhasa city. Sera may not be as grandiose as Drepung, but is more serene surrounded by many small temples. The 'Buddhism Scriptures Debating' in Sera is very famous. Please be aware of the activities always begin in the afternoon except Sundays.

Lhasa Overnight in Lhasa
  A trip to Tibet is a big loss if without experiencing the vital Potala Palace. Potala Palace is a structure of massive portions. Its towering image already appearing on various occasions, but your first sight of the Potala will still be an awe-inspiring moment. We will visit those rooms, halls and chapels Another visit is to Drepung Monastery, once the world's largest monastery, housing 10,000 monks, it lies hidden in rocky ridges just beyond the city. Drepung Monastery is about 8km west from central Lhasa. These white monastic buildings piled up on the hillside. Walking up to the hill is a pleasant thing, an easy break from the solemn ambience inside the halls and chapels. At the plat roof of hillside, you can have very good views of the whole Lhasa city and the distant mountains.

  To experience the natural views of Tibet is a dream of many tourists. This one day roundtrip tour will offer you great opportunity to see the real Tibet. You will see the great mountains, huge grasslands, local nomads, sheep, yaks, goats, horses, most importantly, you will feel the pure huge lake-Nam-Tso, which is 4718m high. It is the second-largest saltwater lake in China, the first being Koko Nor (Qinghai-Lake) in Qinghai province. More and more people want to visit this holy lake. In clear weather the water is a miraculous shade of turquoise and there are magnificent views of the nearby mountains. The wide open spaces, dotted with the tents of local drokpas (Nomads) are intoxicating. You will preoceed to Tour of Patan City to have a look and study many beautiful and interesting arts and architecture and historic and cultural phenomena. Kathmandu sightseeing tour Overnight in Kathmandu
  After Breakfast, we are going to have sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath Temple the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of Bagmati River. Cremation services take place on the banks of Bagmati River. Then proceed to the tour of the biggest of the Buddhist Stupa architecture. Erected in the 17th century and is believed to be a "must visit" pilgrimage site for Buddhist in their lifetime. Boudhanath area is densely inhabited by Tibetan refugees and carries the name as Little Tibet. Then after Sightseeing Tour of Bhaktapur City is just a 14 kms east of Kathmandu. Bhaktapur means the city of devotees and is a center of potter and intriguing masks. The major sight seeing places are, Durbar Square, of 55 windows, Nyatapola, Bhairavnath Temple, and Dattatreya Temple etc.
