Day 1


Please arrange for the international flight to get to Urumqi. We will meet you at the airport, transfer you to the hotel and check you in.

Day 2

UrumqiHeavenly Lake  (120kms, 1.5hrs driving)
Heavenly Lake

Morning your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. Then driving to Fukang and visit the Heavenly Lake, a picturesque Alpine lake, 2000m up in the Tianshan mountain range. Heavenly Lake is a long and narrow gourd-shaped moraine lake, 3400 meters long, about 1500 meters wide, 105 meters at the deepest point, with an average depth of 40 meters, covering an area of about 5.9 square kilometers. There are eight beautiful scenic spots in the lake scenic area.
After that, drive back to Urumqi, tour at the Xinjiang regional museum to see archaeological treasures from the Silk Road and Xinjiang's minority cultures. After that, visit the Xinjiang International Bazaar, the largest bazaar in Urumqi. You'll find a bustling market filled with fruit, clothing, crafts, knives, carpets and almost anything that you can imagine.

Day 3

UrumqiTurpan     (200kms, 3hrs driving)
Tuyoq Village

In the morning, we will drive to Turpan, and take you to Visit the Tuyoq Village, constructed in eastern and western cliffs in Tuyoq valley . more than 40 caves, there are 10 preserving murals. visit the Sugong Minaret, the largest Islamic minaret in China built in 1778. Karez Well, which is a special irrigation system in desert areas. And Jiaohe Ruins—with a history of 2,300 years lies between two rivers on a loess plateau atop a cliff of over 30m. It is one of the best preserved ruins of its ancient era in China, it was include in the World Heritage List on June 22, 2014.

Day 4

TurpanKorla     (381kms, 5hrs driving)
Iron Gate

Morning breakfast at the hotel, drive in the deep of Tianshan Mountain, enjoy the beautiful scenery and drive to Korla, known as the "City of Pears" and the "City of Petroleum". Visit the Iron Gate upon arrival which was a very important pass in the ancient Silk Road. and then Walking along the Peacock River after dinner to feel the local’s city life style.

Day 5

KorlaRuoqiang     (432kms, 7-8hrs driving)
Populus euphratica

Today we will departure from Korla to Ruoqiang, enjoy the beautiful of the Populus euphratica along the way, in Uygur language it is called “Tuhorak”, meaning “the pretest tree”. It has striking capacity to resist drought, sand and salinization. The poplar alkali secreted from the bark can be used as sola as well as in making medicine and soap, degumming and degreasing. Grown-up poplars, strong and tall, stand on the edge of the Taklamakan Desert along the Tarim River, showing diverse poses. They offer lives for the boundless desert, protect the oasis and balance the ecosystem in the desert. Therefore it deserves the name “desert hero”.

Day 6

RuoqiangHuatugou     (348kms, 7hrs driving)

After breakfast, we will drive to Huatugou, on the way you can see the scenery of the A-erh-chin Mountain, also called Altyn Tagh, in Mongolian "the mountains with cypress", is located on the north edge of Tibetan Plateau, lies between the Tsaidam Basin and Tarim Basin in the north-south direction, and connects the Chilien Mountains and Kunlun Mountains. It has the largest nature reserve in China: A-erh-chin Nature Reserve, there are modern glaciers, lakes, deserts and varied kinds of wild animals, it is also a paradise for aquatics and birds.

Day 7

HuatugouDachaidan        (348kms, 7hrs driving)
Yandan Landform Surrounded by Water

In the morning, we will drive to Dachaidan to start our journey today, you can see the Gobi along the way. then we are going to visit the Dachaidan Yadan Landform surrounded by the water, this is the only one in the world. Arrival in Dachaidan, we also can enjoy the scenery of Nanbaxian Yadan Landform, It is one of the largest and most typical Yadan landscapes in the world. Thereafter, you will be transferred to the hotel check in, have a good rest.

Day 8

DachaidanGolmud   (200kms, 2-3hrs driving)Lhasa
Qarhan Salt Lake

After breakfast, we will drive to Golmud, on the way you can visit the Qarhan Salt Lake, It covers an area of 5,856 square kilometers (2,261 square miles). As the largest salt lake in China, it is also one of the most famous inland salt lakes in the world. The hot and dry climate produces a high level of salt concentration causing a mass of salt crystals to form beautifully carved transparent salt clusters to glitter like jade. Appearing in an infinite variety of figures like flowers, corals, pagodas, pearls, pavilions, animals or ivories with different positions, these crystal-clear salt clusters decorate the lake like a fairyland attracting many local and foreign visitors every year. After that, you will be transferred to the train station in Golmud to take the overnight train to Lhasa.

Day 9


in the morning we will meet you at the train station and bring you to downtown to check in your hotel. Afternoon free to Adapt to the plateau

Day 10

Potala Palace

The tour will begin from UNESCO World Heritage site - Potala Palace, which is also the winter palace of Dalai Lama. It's situated at 12,139 feet above sea level. It's a 13-story high building that contains over 1,000 rooms, various statues, stupas, murals and artifacts.
Then continue to Jokhang Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s a spiritual center for Buddhists in Tibet. Next to the temple there is Bakhor Street, filled with pilgrims and street vendors, selling traditional Tibetan items such as prayer wheels and jewelry.

Day 11

Drepung Monastery

In the morning, tourists are going to visit Drepung monastery which was one of the “three greet” Gelug monasteries of Tibet and was founded in 1416. Ganden palace is used as Dalai Lama’s palace in the Drepung before moving to the Potala palace.
Afternoon, Sera Monastery---It was one of the “three great” Gelug monasteries of Tibet and was founded in 1419. The highlight is the Monks debate at around 3 - 5 in the afternoon.

Day 12

Yamdrok Yumtso

Today we will continue our journey to other places of Tibet. About hundred kilometers, you will appreciate the holy Lake of Yamdrok Yumtso . Drive to historical city Gyantse. On the way, we can see the Karola Glacier,  Visit Kubum/Palchue monastery is located in the old town of Gyangtse, it’s built in 15th century, there were three different sect in one, but nowadays it’s belonging to Gelukpa sect only. From this town you will drive some 3hours to Shigatse, Shigatse is second large city in Tibet, the populations around fifty thousands.

Day 13

Tashilunpo Monastery

Today, explore Tashilunpo monastery of Gelug Sect, the seat of the Panchen Lama, built in 1447. The monastery houses a giant statue of the Maitreya Buddha - the biggest gilded statue of Maitreya (Buddha of the future) in the world and a tomb of all the Panchen Lama, containing jewels and gold. In the afternoon, you will drive back to Lhasa, which will take around 6 hours.

Day 14


After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport or train station to your next destination and end of the service.
