South Silk Road and Taklamkan Desert Crossing Adventure ( 4WD)

Taklimakan Desert: With a total area of 337.6 thousand square kilometers, Taklimakan lies in the center of the Talimu Basin, next in area to the Sahara Desert in Africa. It is 1000km long and 400km wide. In the Uygur language, Taklimakan means "never get back if you go in". Hence it is known as "Sea of Death". Dense forest of diversiform poplar trees and bushes line the two sides of Yeltin River, Hetian River and Chechon River around Taklimakan. Hence comes "oasis in desert sea". There is rich quantity of underground water and petroleum.and the South silk road is the essence of the whole silkroad in China .

Day 01: In the morning you will take a flight to Urumqi on your own. And our nice guide will meet you in the airport then you will be transferred to the hotel, visit theXinjiang museum in the afternoon. Overnight in Hoitak Hotel 5*

Day 02-03: Full day tour in the most important town along the ancient silk road.visit the Karez Well which is the longest undergroound irrigate system in the world.Gaochang Ancient City.The Flaming Mountain.Suleiman's Minaret: Astana Tombs , the ancient city of JiaoHe and the highlights in Turpan :Tuygou Village. Over night in Turpan Hotel (3*)

Day 04:Ater breakfast we will drive to Kurler and visit the Gobi desert on the way.visit the Bosten Lake ,take the boat .overnight in Silver Star Hotel (4*)

Day 05:Drive the car to visit the original diversifolious poplar .Tarim river, and cross the Taklamgan Desert.Niya ruins and Over night in Minfen Hotel 3*

Day 06: In the morning drive to o visit the Museum, after lunch drive to Hotan to visit the King of walnut tree, Hotan Carpet Mill .Over night in Zhejiang Hotel 3*

Day 07: Drive to Shache after breakfast .visit the Princess Tomb and go to the local park to enjoy the 12 mukam performed by locals.the rest of the day for you to explore the town.over night in Shache Hotel.(local best)

Day 08: Drive to Kashgar Visit Id Kah Mosque, Abakh Khoja Tomb ,Sunday Bazar.Over night in Seman Hotel (3*)

Day 09: Today you will go to Taxkorgan by car to visit the White sand lake, Kalakuli lake, Gaici Fort(pass by) ,stone city and the colorful mountain (see afar)and overnight in Pamir Hotel (local best)

Day 10:Today you will drive to Kashgar and have a good rest and over night in Seman Hotel

Day 11 :After breakfast you will drive to Kuche .over night in Kuche Hotel

Day 12-13: Visit the Kizil thousand budda caves. Tianshan great canyon, Kizilgaha beacon tower. Subash ruins and Kuche mosque. over night in Kuche Hotel

Day 14: Drive to Urumqi and visit the Bear Pasterland, No1 glacier, and back to Urumqi.Over night in Hoitak Hotel 5* ( Cheers )

Day 15: After breakfast the tour is end.

The whole tour is about 4800kms.
