Danwleak
Danwleak is about 130kms to the north of Yutan county, and located at the west bank of the Keriya river downstream. The ruin is about 2kms fron east to west ,and 10kms from south to north.while the important ruins concentrate in the south, include the castle ,the residents, the temple ,about 20 architectural complex ruins,which consist of the the interity ruins with the ancient irrigation canal, the orchard,and the paddies.
The strong sandstorm and the moving dune are still the main threats to the ruins and many constrution are already corroded. the construction of the temples accounts for the important proportion.there are more than half of the constructions are temples in which also has a Chinese monk temple¡ªHuguosi.the temples are decorated by the sculptures and the murals are related to the Mahayana. The
Unearthed relics are stone, ceramic, copper,iron, glass, coins as well as massive prints related to the famous romaunt and some documents in Chinese and Sanskrit , refers to the official documents ,the common letter,the contracts and the buddist sculpture.However ,we still havent got any evidence to prove why the ruins were abandoned.Let it be a historical mysterious for the generationa to guess and explore.
In 1992 national archaelog excavated Danwleak after that nobody allowed to do that again and the ruins fall asleep again.
It's about 280kms from Khotan to Danwleak ,the road is tough and difficult,most of the area is the unpopulated and the desert, so the arrangement of the tour is tight we will need 2days to prepare.

Itinerary
Day 01 Urumqi¡ªHotan ( D )
In the morning you will take a flight to Urumqi on your own.You will be transferred to the hotel,and in the afternoon visit the Xinjiang museum ,after dinner take a flight to Hotan , and over night in Hotan Hotel
Day 02: Hotan ¨C Yutan
Today you will drive the 4WD to Yutan and the rest of the day is for you to explore this traditional Uyger village.
Day 03:Yutan¡ªBaselge
Today you will meet the camels in the desert and over night in the locals who has been living in the desert for thousands of years ¡£
Daryabry is the only oasis in the Taklamkan desert, they werent found until the famous archeologists Stain discovered them in the middle of 19 th century. You still can see some ruins left which record the rise and fall of the ancient silk road and the Yutan town in the desert. You will be shocked by the unique natural sight, the geographic landscape and it's history. Over night in the tent next to the local Daryabry pepole.
Day 04: Baselge
After breakfast you will trek with light packs about 15kms to the west to our camp site,while the camels will take our equipments ,food and water.over night in the tent.
Day 05: Baselge¡ªDanwleak
Today you will continue to head west to Danwleak to visit the ruins left in the desert which is about 5sqms.over night in the tent.
Day 06¡ª07: Danwleak ¨C Baselge
Today you will trek back to Baselge and over night in the local Daryabry pepole.
Day 08: Baselge¡ªYutan ¨CHotan
Today you will drive the 4WD to Hotan and take the flight to Urumqi .over night in Xinjiang Grand Hotel.4*
Day 09 Urumqi ¨C
After the breakfast ,You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
