Crossing the Ancient Shart Route

Tour Itinerary

Day 01 ： Urumqi

The domestic flight is on your own and our nice guide will meet you at the airport and you will be transferred to the hotel.then visit the Xinjiang Museum ,The international Bazaar.Overnight in Xinjiang Grand Hotel 4*

Day 02:Urumqi –Yili

In the morning you will take the coach to Yili (700kms) ,visit the Salim Lake which is great and fantastic on the way,and over night in Yili General Hotel 4*

Day 03:Yili—ZhaoSu

After break fast drive to Zhaosu (220kms) and visit the Saint Temple which is the best preserved Lamaism

Temple in Xinjiang.then drive to Shate county to prepare the vegetables and meats and other food. Then visit the Shate hot spring .over night in our own tent.

Day 04: Shart

After breakfast we will start the treking in the Shart Valley where you can enjoy the original nature and see many wild animals, beautiful flowers , the glaciers … over night in our own tent.

Day 05: Shart – Muzart Glacier Valley

Today we will cross the Muzart Daban and get to the  Muzart Glacier Valley . over night in our own tent

 Muzart Glacier Valley is a bealock which is the bord line of the north and south TianShan . to the north is the origin of Shart river , to the south is the origin of Muzart, the peak is 5000-5500 meters above the sea level next to the Daban .The Ancient Route is that we will cross the Tianshan mountain and trek along the glacier which is about 15 kms

Day 06: Cross the  Muzart Glacier

The  Muzart Glacier is about 35kms long and 2kms wide which look like a great brown dragon. We have to cross the dangerous and gorgeous glacier. over night in our own tent

Day 07  Muzart Glacier- Aksu

In the morning you can trek to south  Muzart valley ,and the waiting coach will take us to Aksu prefecture,and this night you will overnight in Hongfu Hotel 4*

Day 08 : In the morning we will take the coach TO Urumqi.over night in Xinjiang Grand hotel 4*

Day 09: Urumqi –

After beakfast you will be transfered to the airport and take the flight to your next destination. We can book the airticket for you (no service charge)

1: The participant should have the outdoor experience and good physical condition.

2: Minim 2 persons and Max 10persons

The Public equipments : GPS, maps, intercom, 50meters climbing rope ,the main lock,hangs the safety belt ,the ice foot.

Personal equipments: 70L climbing bag, climbing boot, scandles, 2 underwares, 5 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of quick-drying clothes, down sleeping bag at least 1200gs, dampproof cushion. Canteen, mess tin medicins and so on.
